I have always enjoyed working with the soft texture of fabric, I love how it changes when I cut it apart and reconstruct it. Threads serve a double duty, it holds the material together while adding rich visual detail.

My recent artwork focuses more on text, inspired ,as I am, by the news and occurrences in my close surroundings . No longer am I restricted to fabric . I lay my hands on all kinds of material that can be stitched through . Stitching remains the best way to express myself.
